S55 ENGINE CRANK HUB UPGRADE
WHEN GOING STAGE 1 AND BEYOND IT IS RECOMMENDED TO FIT THE S55 CRANK HUB FIX. MULTIPLE INSTANCES OF HIGH POWERED CARS SUFFERING FROM ENGINE TIMING SLIP WHICH CAN PUT THE CAR INTO LIMP MODE AND STOP IT FROM STARTING.
THE SIMPLEST AND MOST COST EFFECTIVE SOLUTION IS TO INSTALL THE (LITCHFIELD MOTORS) BOLT CAPTURE. THIS STOPS THE CRANKSHAFT BOLT FROM LOOSENING OVER TIME OR UNDER HIGH LOAD. A CNC AND ANODISED UPGRADE STOP THE CRANKSHAFT BOLT FROM LOOSENING OVER TIME OR UNDER HIGH LOADS.
IF THE CRANK BOLT HAS SLIPPED AND THERE IS AN ERROR ON THE DASH THEN A REPLACEMENT CRANK HUB ASSEMBLY IS NEEDED WITH A NEW OIL PUMP PULLEY AND CAM DRIVE PULLEY. A NEW ONE PIECE CRANK HUB AND GEAR ASSEMBLY CAN BE INSTALLED.
